2008_06_09 lights, fans, posts, dormer ceiling now done, etc

Just a few photos of the lights and ceiling fans. I was going to put some on here of the posts and dormer ceiling, but you can see them in other sections so I'm leaving them out (aren't you relieved?).

The lights over the sink are below. We have now moved them a couple of inches higher, but you get the idea.




The fan in the great room is a 72 inch one. It's very high up (about 12 feet) so it's a good thing that it's that wide. It does a good job of cooling the entire room believe it or not.

The one in our bedroom is a 54 inch. Actually, I think the other 6 in the house are also except for the 72 inch one.

Below is one of the 24 inch fluorescent tube lights that are in all of the closets except for the one in the master bedroom (which has track lights). These lights are mounted inside the closets on the wall above the door so that the bulbs face the stuff in the closet. This is better than having them on the ceiling since not only does it allow the light to reach almost everywhere in the closet and it does NOT ever hit in your eyes since it's above and almost behind you.

The fan/light below is the one in the loft.
